Hello everyone and welcome to the Jack Britt Parent Support Group. I am so
excited to have so many parents and guardians sign up to become involved with
this wonderful organization. We meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month
@ 7:00 pm in theauditorium. We will be distributing information pertaining
to testing, curriculum, and school board issues. There will be a guidance
counselor and an administrator at each meeting to answer questions and explain
all the wonderful educational opportunities available to your child.
We host the Homecoming Dance in October and a few
smaller events at the end of the year. With the money we raise we are able
to fund various events to benefit the students, faculty, and staff. We are
always in need of volunteers to help with these events. In the packet that your
child brought home there was a background check form, you will need to fill this
form out in order to volunteer at school events. If you need
another form you can go onto the school web site and follow the link or stop by
the office and fill one out.
We will be sending out information about volunteer
opportunities, upcoming meetings and events through email and also on our face
book page (JBHS Parent Support Group) please go to this page and click the like
button. You can also access our page from the school’s main website.
We are always looking for new ways to improve our
school and I look forward to meeting and working with each of you this year!!!

of you who sent in background check forms: if you did not fill out both SS # and
Drivers License # your form will not be processed.
In order to volunteer at Jack Britt, background check
forms must be returned to school. Please clink on this link http://www.hr.ccs.k12.nc.us/hr_forms.htm
then print out, fill out and return to school. Thank you!
